Where are my pictures?
If you have been granted access to a gallery, log in first, then click on My Pictures next to your name toward the top left corner of the screen.
How do I log in?
If you are the individual that set up the session, you should have received 2 seperate emails. One would have included the Galley access code, which is used for friends and family to view the gallery. The second one is your password used in conjunction with your email address to: save favorites, compare photos side by side, change photos to Black & White and to order pictures using your print credit. If you wish to just view pictures, once you have the access code, click on the gallery you wish to view. A new page will appear asking for the code and click submit.

If you are not the individual who set up the session, you will need to get the access code from your friend of family member. Once you have the access code, click on the gallery you wish to view. A new page will appear asking for the code and click submit.

I can't seem to log in.
Log in information is case sensitive, be sure you have entered it correctly. If you have forgotten your password, click here.

What is My Pictures?
My Pictures are galleries that have limited access to them that you have access to.

Will the pictures I select stay in my shopping cart?
Yes. Your pictures will stay in your shopping cart until you either place the order or delete them yourself.


Why do I have to register to add images to my shopping cart?
By registering an account, you are able to keep items in your shopping cart for a long period of time. Additionally, you will be able to view your orders and private galleries (if available) by having an account.

Does it cost anything to register for an account?
No.

I have been sent access information for a gallery, what do I do?
Click the Access Gallery link. Enter in the access code on that page. If correct, you will be able to view the gallery. If you have an account and are logged in, then you will only have to do this once and this gallery will be listing in My Pictures.

What if I cannot view my photos?
Please make sure that your Adobe Flasher program is up to date. To update, go to www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/. Also, please be patient while the pictures load, this may take several minutes - especially if you are using dial-up internet.

What if I do not want to view the slideshow?
If you wish to only view the thumbnails, click on the gallery and enter the access code, followed by hitting submit. Then, click "continue to galley" and thumbnails should begin to load.

How do I view an individual photo?
Simply click on the photo.

How do I enlarge a photo to view the fine detail?
Under the image, click "Zoom Image." A separate window will pop-up of your photo. If pop-up blocker is running, the enlarged photo will not appear. Please disable this blocker in order for this to work.

How do I compare images side by side?
Under the image, click "hold to compare," a yellow bar will appear stating you have added this photo for comparison. Repeat this process for all photos you wish to compare. Once you have selected all the photos you would like to compare, click "view images for comparison" located in the upper left corner and images will appear side by side.

How do I return to all thumbnails?
If you wish to return to all thumbnails, in the upper left corner of the web-side window, click "splash page" and this will return you to all photos.

What does mounted on styrene mean?
Styrene is a white plastic mounting board that helps to protect the print from rolled edges. Furthermore, the print does not necessarily need to be framed; however, it can still be placed in an original frame.

The questions below, you MUST be logged into your account before these options are available to you.

How do I add a photo to my cart?
Click on the photo you wish to add, followed by the quantity and size. Also, choose if you would like the portrait in the original form or black and white. If you are choosing a photo size of 8x10 or larger, you will also need to select; mounted on styrene or unmounted. Then, click "Add to Cart." A yellow bar will be shown at the top of the screen-stating you have added this photo.

How do I view a picture in Black and White?
First, you will need to be logged into your account. Then, once you are logged in, click on the picture you wish to view. Next, on the right hand side, you will see a spot that says "color options" with a pull down menu. Click on the down arrow and choose black and white. Your photo should change to Black and White.

How do I view the items in my shopping cart?
Located in the top right corner, click "shopping cart" which will bring you to all the images you have selected.

What if I wish to remove a photo from my cart?
On the right hand side, under Quantity, click "Remove" and a pop-up window will ask you to confirm this decision.

What if I need my gallery extended?
Please email us at kari@photographybykari.com. If you wish to extend your photos for an additional 10 days, there will be an extension fee of $20.

How do I add pictures to "My Favorites?"
Under the image, click "Add to Favorites."

How do I view "My Favorites?"
In the middle of the screen, click "My Favorites."

Can my image be cropped in?
Pictures may be cropped in to a certain point, depending on the image and the size you prefer. If you would like an image cropped, please "add note" to image.

How do I "add a note" to an image?
After clicking on the photo you wish to add a note to, located above the "add to cart" button, click on the "add notes for this image."

How do I place my order?
Once you have added all the images you wish to purchase in your shopping cart, click "Check Out"(located in the upper right) and press continue. Make sure all the details are correct before proceeding and click "place this order." If your order goes through, you will receive an email with a link to an nvoice within a few moments. Please be patient for this may take a few minutes.

How do I pay for my order?
If you wish to pay by check or money order, send payment payable to Kari McGill. Be sure you make note of your order number. Full payment of order must be paid before photos will be submitted to the lab. Your prints will be available approximately 2 weeks after the payment is received.

What if I wish to pay online?
On the invoice, select "click here to pay," this will take you to pay pal. You do not need to have a pay pal account; however, if you do have an account - simply log in. If you do not, under "don't have an account," click "continue." After all of your information is carefully listed and reviewed, click "review order and continue." On the next page, you will be able to select "pay now."
