Senior pictures are likely the last time children will have professional portraits made of themselves until their wedding. That’s right – until their wedding. Though this alone seems a perfectly good reason for their parents to have them done, this reasoning is likely not a good reason to the senior boy to get their portraits done. Getting a senior boy to have his picture taken by a professional photographer and be happy about it can be just about impossible. But who doesn’t love a challenge?
I have known and taken Terron’s family portraits since he was about 8, I think. Terron is a really great kid but never been enthusiastic about having his pictures taken. Honestly, I don’t blame him. After all, how much fun can it be to hang out with 2 ladies, one with her camera in your face and the other with a flash in your face for an hour or so? With that said I have yet to come across a senior boy who really, really wanted a session. But, I also have yet to have a senior boy come away from one of our sessions that hasn’t said that wasn’t really that bad. Although, they may all just be being polite. 😉
Anyway, thanks for sticking with us Terron! We enjoyed your shoot and wish nothing but the best in the future. Congratulations!
P.S. I also included some photos of his Mom getting some photos we delivered to her this week from the spring baseball session we did with Terron. Love her priceless reaction, she was so excited for her canvas and custom 3-foot cardboard cutout (it still needs to be popped out from where it was cut so there won’t be any white around it).
