Court’s Surprise {MN Cancer Fighter Portrait Photographer}

A couple of weeks ago, we did a surprise for my cousin, Courtney. She absolutely LOVES cows and if you are friends with her on Facebook, you will know this as she is always sharing cute photos of cows.

Court had said she wanted to do some photos, so I came up with the idea of surprising her and taking photos of her with her favorite animal. I had made a post on Facebook and hid her from it to seek out some tame cows to use, so she had no idea.

I found a day that worked for those that so kindly offered to let us come to their farms and take photos with their cows. I told Court I had a surprise day planned for her and only told her what to wear. We lucked out and got one of the 90 degree days, it was beautiful outside. We picked Court up and head out to the first spot. She was so confused when we pulled into our first stop, Greg and Heather Hale’s farm. I had asked Heather to keep the cow slightly hidden, so we had a bit of a walk to the cow. Even though the cow was in plain sight as we got closer, it took a bit for Court to see the cow. lol

She then got to meet the cow and we told her our plan for the day. We had such fun day driving around, eating at the A&W and catching the end of the Vikings vs Packers game, and seeing the different cows.

P.S. If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, check out Rockie Top Acres Alpacas as they are having an open house, Saturday and Sunday from 10-4. You will get to see baby alpacas, baby bunnies, chickens, Roulette the Holstein dairy heifer, and of course Malu, the Great Pyrenees dog that protects them all.
