Sweet little smiles.
Yesterday I happened to go outside and saw these guys coming over the hill in front of my house. So I grabbed my camera and drove down the driveway to ask if I could grab a photo.
They are part of the University of Iowa Veterans Association They are ruck marching the game ball 286 miles from TCF Bank Stadium to Kinnick Stadium for the November 14th football game between the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
They are also carrying 22 lbs on their backs to honor the 22 Veterans who take their own lives every day.
Happy Veterans Day to all the veterans out there that have put their lives on the line for our freedom. Thank you for your service, to those in the military, past, present and future!
Great night, beautiful girl, and one of my favorite locations, what more can I ask for when capturing senior portraits!
Love that I get to see these kiddos in front of my camera year after year. I can still remember their first session when “M” was a year old and Katie and I kept driving past their grandparent’s home as we didn’t think it was the right place. That was over 7 years ago now. Crazy how fast time flies and how much they have grown even from year to year. This year, I couldn’t get over how much “K” is starting to look so much like his Dad and looking so grown up.
Finished editing these cute brothers yesterday.
