One Year Old Boy {Grand Meadow MN Portrait Photographer}

How cute is this little guy?!  I adore those big blue eyes,  all his expressions and his growl.  He even showed me how old he was,1!   We had so much fun celebrating Mr. L’s  first birthday back in January.    His cake smash was done in some of my favorite colors.  I just love those blues and greens. He also got to wear the same onesie his brothers have worn for their cake smashes.  Such a great tradition and we’ve had the opportunity to photograph each of them.

Gracie ’17 {Spring Valley MN Senior Portrait Photographer}

Gracie had some ideas and I had some of my own. Together I think we nailed it! She’s a beautiful girl who enjoys playing volleyball, her favorite sport basketball and softball. And if you haven’t noticed- she’s a MN farm girl at heart! Love that! I grew up on a farm, my parents didn’t have cows, but my Uncle Bud milked at our farm until I was about 15, so I was always down in the barn doing the chores with him and my Grandpa, usually. Some of my favorite memories come from being in our barn working beside my family.

Gracie, it was such a joy to capture you during your senior portraits! Thank you to you and your Mom for choosing Photography by Kari. I’m truly blessed! I know you will do great things with your life and I hope you always remember your roots.

Twin 1 Year Portraits {SE MN Twin Children’s Portrait Photographer}

It was great watching these two grow up over their first year with their Watch Me Grow Session. Hard to believe, but I think they grew to look more like each other as they got older. They are as adorable as can be!

I LOVE the props Paige made for this adorable Super Mario and Luigi cake smash. Watching them eat their cake was very entertaining to see, they even had to sample each others cakes.

And a big congrats to Mom and dad for surviving the first year!

Xena ’17 {SE MN Senior Portrait Photographer}

Here’s a look back at some of my favorite images from Xena’s senior portrait session. We met in Lanesboro and went to the park and we got lots of beautiful fall colors and then headed to one of the theaters she performs at there. So much fun! Love being able to really highlight what our high school seniors are into.  Enjoy!

Beautiful Couple {Rochester MN Portrait Photographer}

Since it’s such a blustery day outside, today, I thought it’d be a good day to start to share some sessions from this Fall when it was warmer out.

Although, it felt pretty cold and was pretty windy out on the day of this session, it was still a beautiful day for a session. We met Josh, Bianca, Ethel and Patsy at the stable that Patsy is boarded . It took us a little bit to find some areas that were out of the wind in the beginning, but it was such a great day, especially with this awesome, loving couple! They made it so fun!
