Meet the newest little guy to steal my heart. And what a super star this little guy was, there was no waking him he just went with the flow of the session.

As graduation nears for the Class of 2017, it’s time for the Class of 2018 to start thinking about their senior year. Is scheduling senior portraits at the top of that To-Do list? It should be! It’s definitely one of the fun things seniors get to do…. And I absolutely love photographing graduating seniors! These sessions bring me back to when I got my own portraits taken. I like to think it wasn’t that long ago! I do remember every moment, from picking my outfits, to finding the perfect location. There is something special about this time in your life, and I do everything I can to make sure I capture your personality.
We have so much fun with our seniors and can’t wait to have some fun with the Class of 2018. Every part of this process should be super fun: the consult, the prep (new clothes?), the photo session itself, sharing your online gallery with your family and friends and then getting to see your favorites in print to be hung on the wall and viewed for generations to come.
In addition to making clients look and feel the best they ever have, Photography by Kari also focuses on telling your story. I will get to know you through in-person consultations, client questionnaires, and parent input.

I have been photographing this cutie since she was only a newborn. “Are we done yet?” she asked a few times during the session. When the answer was “no” she would happily go back to doing whatever we asked. She is perfectly sweet, perfectly sassy with a bit a shy mixed in, so cute. Such a fun age to photograph.
Mr. H turned 3 last month, so for his portraits, we used his favorite things… superheroes… he had so, so many great expressions for his photos. Some of them came from Mr. H’s reactions to the “bad guys” upstairs (aka someone working on the apartment upstairs) and him having so us. So much fun! His Mom and Dad are going to have such a hard time choosing, I know I did.
Ah, this boy’s smiles… So many of them of them and so adorable. Doesn’t he just make you smile, too? And his kilt… How cute is that?
