Engagement {Spring Valley MN Engagement Portrait Photographer}

This morning I was at Chateau de Chic getting my hair done for my own family portrait that we had tonight and another customer came in and was talking about having rehearsal tonight for her brother-in-law’s wedding tomorrow and it reminded me I had never shared any of their engagement photos. ? So tonight beforethe wedding, I am sharing some of my favorites.
We had to reschedule once due to extreme cold and it wasn’t much better the day we did these. I’m honestly surprised none of us got frostbite as it was 10 below if my memory serves me correctly. However, the snow and frost on the trees made for beautiful photos outside.

One-Year-Old Cake Smash {SE MN Infant Portrait Photographer}

Finally sharing some of this session with this one-year-old boy. I had shared the cake smash set as we built it and this one-year-old was so happy for his session. So fun! And he enjoyed his cake made by Debby Westphal to the very end as well as the bananas. I think he probably has the record for destroying his smash cake the most as well.

Family of 5 {SE MN Family Portrait Photographer}

This was an extra-special session because this particular family won their session during the live auction at the benefit we had for my cousin Courtney last year. Thanks so much for supporting Courtney!

We met for their session at the beautiful Forestville State Park. We had tried to get these photos in last fall, but the weather and our schedules didn’t sync. However, we ended up with a perfect day… the breeze was blowing just slightly, the sun was out but we also had a few clouds… what more can you ask for?! But we did because we got to photograph this fun family with a Mom who always organizes the best outfits for her family to wear together at their shoots.
