Happy 4th of July! {Southeast MN Portrait Photographer}

Hey Everyone! Hope you have a fantastic fourth of July weekend! I am so very thankful for the freedom that our country has! Can’t wait to spend some time with family at my Grandma’s enjoying some food, a parade and some fireworks.

Can’t make a post without some photos, too. These are some of my fave kids (and Dog) to do shoots with. No matter what it’s never dull. Just looking at these photos though makes me smile and also want to slow down time! So glad we got some new photos of them in the same spot as a few years ago to show just how much they have changed. (You can see those here) And we got some great images just in time for the 4th of July.

Adorable Children’s Portrait Contest {SE MN Children’s Portrait Photographer}

I’m very excited to announce that it’s time to vote for your favorite entry in our Adorable Children’s Portrait Contest! You may vote once a day for one image or a couple of images, but only for an image once a day from now until Monday, July 6, 2015 at 12 pm central standard time. Then on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 the winners will be announced. You can share this blog post with friends and we have a link on Facebook, too.

The top 5 winners with the most votes in the local Photography by Kari Adorable Children’s Portrait contest will receive a 16×20 print ($105 value) of the winner’s choice from the session used to enter the contest . The Grand Prize winner of the local contest will also receive a 5×7 session brag book (a $350 value).

Sweet Baby Boy {Rochester MN Newborn Portrait Photographer}

Meet baby “O” everyone! He is so adorable. And was so good for his session! I met his Mom and Dad back at their maternity session, they are even cuter with this little guy, pros already! : ) Congratulations to the new family of three! Excited to watch Mr. “O” grow over the next year with his Watch Me Grow Session….

Mr. P turns 2! {Southeast MN Children’s Portrait Photographer}

Love his ride he brought to the studio for pics. Never seen anything like it before! Also, got to go to Forestville for a few more pictures as it was rainy the first day and Mr. P wasn’t feeling like giving us too many smiles.

He was such a gentleman, at the end of the session, he even pulled our wagon full of props back to the car for Allison.

Watch Me Grow {SE MN Children’s Portrait Photographer}

What an amazing year it’s been! We had several Watch Me Grow Sessions, and they just all celebrated their first birthdays between April and June. So if you’ve been following are facebook page, you’ve seen lots of cake smash sessions. I met this hansome guy last year when he was a newborn and his parents signed him up for our Watch Me Grow Session and it has been absolute pleasure photographing him this past year. He has the sweetest personality and his parents are an absolute joy to work with!

Then last night we headed out to his house for some photos. So beautiful! I could have photographed him and his wonderful parents all night long if they would have let me. Such a great family at an amazing area for photos.
